"Milwood" screens in 3 Days!!

Hello everyone!

It has been some time since my last post, but again.. It's because of all good things!
Very very busy!

My first official full length screenplay that I wrote, "Milwood", is screening May 20th at Cannes Film Festival in France!

It took a lot of patience, motivation, passion, and time to be able to complete this. Of course, it couldn't of been done without some great passion and devotion from other people as well!

Michelle Romano (Roman Media) , Gabriel Schmidt (Swimming Wings Production) , Don Tempesta, Deborah Davis, Evan Goldman, Duane Spagnuolo, Nedy John Cross III & Ute Ehrenberg to name a very few!!

After Cannes, Milwood will come back to the states and begin it's long journey into the film circuit. So if you haven't had the opportunity to see it in France.. there will be many screening, in many locations for your viewing pleasure!! So stay tuned for dates ;-)

Also, just to keep everyone updated on my future films.. I have two other full length screenplays ready to go, along with an amazing WEBSERIES!!
The first season is complete and ready to go! It is looking like that will be the next project in line.. unless tables turn, and another project becomes priority... which happens a lot, trust me! Milwood was supposed to be my second featured filmed, not the first lol :-)

If you haven't checked out the official trailer yet. You can watch it here! www.welcometomilwood.com

Until next time.. "Milwood welcomes you" .......(to view it in person! coming to a theater near you!)

Welcome to "MILWOOD" : Feature Film

First thing's first... I want to apologize to everyone for not being more active with my blogs. I promise to keep these going throughout this film.

I can however say, I have been inactive for a GREAT reason. That reason is called "MILWOOD".

"MILWOOD" is a pyschological thriller based out of Massachusetts. Below is a Low-Res photo of the poster. We just recieved the High-Res Photo and it looks AMAZING! I will post it on facebook.

INSPIRATION FOR MILWOOD

I have always had a spot in my heart for thrillers. Being able to give people the feeling of fear without showing gore, or even killing.
A strong story can possess the key to a great psychological thriller. Out of every genre, I don't think there is any better feeling than the one a thriller creates in your body.
It's that feeling of being scared, being afraid, being uncomfortable, and still know in the back of your mind that you're in a safe environment. Any other situation with those feelings is probably not a good moment. This is a huge reason why I feel people have that addiction to thrillers or horrors.

I created this story to stir the pot. I want people to talk about this story. Good opinions, bad opinions, or in they grey. If you are talking about MILWOOD, then I did my job.
This film follows a child. His name is Nathan, and he takes you on an uncomfortable journey. His parents were involved in a fatal accident, and Nathan is forced to live life in a completely different way.

My goal with this film was to create questions. Every kind of question.
Is it psychological? Is the child crazy? Is it the Milwood facility?
To me, a child is probably one of the most creepiest aspects of a thriller. Children on camera in these generes are creepy enough. Adding the elements I created that surround this child, increases that effect.

I'm originally from Massachusetts. There are many historical sites living in that state, and also a lot of hidden gems with amazing landscapes. One of my goals was to use these magnificent sights, and blend them into MILWOOD. Location was one of the top priorities for this film. We have some amazing visions for filming, and once we add all the elements into the same pot. The magic of MILWOOD will be created.

I would like to leave this inspiration on a last note.

"It doesn't matter what you feel, or how horrible that feeling is. As long as you have that feeling, you know you're alive".

Filming starts in two days, and I'm noting but excitement and stress :) It has been tough, but I can proudly say this Sun., Sept. 23rd. will be the opening shoot of MILWOOD!

I am more than greatful for everyone's support, and for this.. Here is a sneek peek of my mystirous character in this story, which is filled of AMAZING characters.

Mr. Clemens welcomes you to MILWOOD.

Jim Faulkner, baseball player for the NY Giants

Hope all is well!?

I wanted to share this with everyone.

I was always told by my family that my great grandfather was a professional baseball player. Faulkner is actually my mother's maiden name. For years I've heard stories, but unfortunetly never could find anything about him. I was told he was a pitcher and a first baseman. Up until now, I've only saw one photo of him on the field. With the help of my family, they found this website with his info on it, and to be honest.. It's very exciting. I do live in California now, and I can offically say I have a reason to be a Giants fan!
Makes me think that I should've stuck with baseball, haha :)

Check it out!

"Jimmy Messi" ??

Hey hey everyone!

Hope all is well.

I haven't posted much in a couple of weeks, and today is the perfect day to do that. I was recently on set of the show, "The Client List" starring "Jeniffer Love Hewitt".
It was a great time on set and I met a bunch of terrific people.
While on set, someone said to me.. "Hey you look like Messi". I thought to myself for a second and responded with.. "what"?
He again said "You look like Messi". At this point, I'm think he is saying that I look like a mess and maybe like I needed a shower or something. I thought to myself, "well that's just plain rude". Just when I had that thought, he said.. "Did anyone every tell you that? You look just like him".
Then I realized he meant I looked like someone named Messi, haha. He informed me that Lionel Messi is a soccer player, and not just any soccer player, but the highest paid soccer player and arguably the best. Now to be quite honest. I never was a soccer fan... or should I say futbol fan.

So I decided to look this fellow up, and to my surprise.. He kind of does. I really never admit someone looks like me, when someone tells me that "someone looks like me".. but oddly enough he does. My friends and family do say that he has a much bigger nose than me though :)

Ironically, several other futbol fanatics, including a 7 year old boy have approached me to tell me the exact same thing.
The 7 year old boy was with his family and actually brought a picture of "Messi" up on his phone and said "This is you". The little boy was also wearing a Barcelona Jersey for that matter as well, haha. I laughed with his family and I said "come to my next game and I will give you all some tickets". He little boys face lit up and he said to his dad "Really, will he"!? His father informed him that I was just kidding.

I also must mention that no one has ever mentioned this funny similarity with Messi until now. I have only been in California for a year and a half, and they are definitely HUGE futbol fans out here.

So, because of this I think I might follow "futbol" a little closer now, and who knows... I might even buy the Fifa 2012 for 360.
This humorous situation also got me brain storming, and I am now in the works on a very funny spoof I will be creating about Lionel Messi. Where I will actually be playing Messi in a series of short films.

So without further ado, I give to you my somewhat similar reflection.

          THOUGHTS!!??
If anyone wants to come to one of my games, let me know. I'll get you some tickets :)

Til next time!
